Due to the ongoing situation with the Coronavirus pandemic, and following professional guidelines, I have had to review my procedures.
Apart from taking funerals, I have cut all social face to face contact and will be remaining at home, with the exception of taking funeral services.
Family visits will now be done by Telephone or Video chat to protect my families and of course, myself, from infection.
Funeral Services will be taken as normal, however, in future this may change to limited mourners or in the worst case scenario to cremation only with no mourners present.
In the case of extreme measures where loved one’s cannot be in attendance, I will arrange with you to hold a service either at home (with limited numbers and where there is no history of Coronavirus) or, preferably, outdoors in a garden, park or place of your choice (depending on Government restrictions).
If necessary, a memorial service can be held at a later date when things are more “normal”.
I will work with you, within the Government guidelines, to try to give your loved one the respect and send off they deserve. These are strange and distressing times, please take care and do not worry, somehow we shall solve this together!
